Halligan Roofing is a premier, firefighter-owned and operated roofing company founded by Clinton Byrd. Named after the indispensable tool used by fire departments worldwide, the company brings the exact same level of care, concern, and calming guidance to roofing projects as firefighters bring to the firehouse. From minor repairs to complex post-disaster renovations, their project managers specialize in claims navigation to protect small business owners and families during emotionally trying times, offering a small, tight-knit, family-oriented operation that will never price-gouge you when you need a roof done.
Key Challenges
When Halligan Roofing first launched, a team member hastily threw together a basic Squarespace website to establish an online footprint. However, as the company grew, the site became a major bottleneck. The cookie-cutter template looked identical to every other generic roofing site online and failed to reflect their unique firefighter heritage and family-first values. Furthermore, the team had no idea how to edit the rigid Squarespace platform, and the site lacked the infrastructure required to scale their local SEO, customize user forms, or properly showcase their extensive construction portfolio.

My strategy was to build a fully custom WordPress website from scratch that honors their incredible story while serving as a high-performing lead generation engine. To highlight their unparalleled integrity, I designed a dedicated “Family Page” to showcase their tight-knit team and built an interactive step-by-step process timeline so customers know exactly what to expect from initiation to post-job completion.
To maximize operational efficiency, I engineered a smart, custom contact form that automatically routes incoming project inquiries to the correct foreman for the job. Finally, I built a custom work portfolio page to proudly display the diverse facets of their construction capabilities and integrated a dynamic reviews widget highlighting their stellar 4.9-star reputation, giving them a sharp, modern digital presence built on absolute trust.
